One of our greatest privileges is working with organisations and causes that are truly transformative and lifechanging. Goondoi Aboriginal Arts Corporation’s Camp Goondoi is no exception.

Based in Innisfail, Far North Queensland, Camp Goondoi offers an immersive and uniquely 100% Traditional Owner-led experience designed for schools and other organisations. Through the camp, young people learn about Goondoi’s sacred dreamtime stories, secrets of the Reef and connection to Country. With a lifetime of learning in just a few days, they leave with a new and deeper appreciation of the rich culture and history of Goondoi – and their own special connection to Country.

In creating a script and visual piece for the camp, we worked closely with the Goondoi Traditional Owners to encapsulate the profound spirit of the camp. Ultimately, we not only told the story of this incredible culture and Country, we gained a truly transformative and lifechanging experience of our own.
